H.O.P.E. stands for Haiti Orphans Praise Ensemble!

This group of 11 children is made up of 8 boys and 3 girls from the small village of Perches, Haiti. They range in age from 7-16 years old. Although they have lived what may seem a short life, they have experienced more than any child should at their age. Most of them have recently been rescued from a life of child slavery or living on the street and brought to live in their new home at our Project 127 Orphanage in Haiti. This is why the name H.O.P.E means so much to them. Because Jesus Christ has changed their life, and thanks to the support of hundreds of families and churches around the US, these children have a song to sing, victories to tell, and a reason to share H.O.P.E.!

Belony Joesph is the 13 year old "Mr. Personality." He has three brothers and one sister. He was rescued from a life of slavery, and was so thankful when he moved into the orphanage. He has touched man people with his smile and outgoing attitude.

Estanio Princivil is 13 years old. He and his older brother Julmis (right) have been rescued from a horrible situation. Their father is blind, and their mom is a beggar in the streets. She did not even know their names when we asked her permission to have the kids come to the orphanage. When we found them, they were living in a small wooden shack, about the size of a bathroom. Neither one had been to school before.  Now they are doing well in school and have a new life of hope ahead of them.

LiLi is one of the most unique children in our program. We are unsure of his actual age due to a growth deficiency. His mom died when he was a baby and his father his over 70 years old. Recently, we were able to rescue him from a life of slavery and abuse. Now he has begun to grow a little, learn a lot, and smile non-stop! We are so proud of how his life has been changed.
